2005-08-30 - 6:25 p.m. finally, after many months (since march!!), the icky ovary tumor is excised. :D celebrate! unfort., i can't do any jumping up and down. dr said, take it easy, no heavy lifting. he never said, 'don't reach up and try to stick glow stars on your ceiling'. oh my f-----king gawd, i nearly died. so there's a wee slice in my gut, and another on the right side that's even smaller for the dr to take a peek at, make sure the right ovary is healthy (and thankfully, it is). my bellybutton is recovering from the big camera push. i am very glad i was knocked out for that part--and the whole 'let's blow up her belly like a balloon' thing. the tumor was a Dermoid tumor, just like the ultrasound specialist at beverly hills had written up oh those many months ago. but if there's any chance of it not being a dermoid, might as well try drug therapy and avoid surgery, right? well that's one health problem i'm glad to give a final kick in the ass to. for the past few months it had certainly been kicking mine. pain from its presence, the hormonal changes, that awful, always present 'boy i feel sick' feeling Down There. it really feels like a miracle that, tho' i do feel knifed in the gut, ALL the other symptoms are now gone. i'm free!!!! *dances extremely gently* so what's the status? with the arms, i think i'm finally back to health, altho' being forgetful and accidently typing on the flat keyboard certainly starts the left arm swelling again. caution keeps that at bay! now i just have to heal up from the surgery wounds (and not stick stars on my ceiling :( ), and then i can go walking, and yoga, and look for star fishes, and lift weights, and dig for rocks, and go paragliding.... :DDDDD ~wee!
